Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The crispy batter and succulent chips at Park Road Fish Bar receive rave reviews, often leaving diners wanting more after just one visit. Many highlight the gluten-free options as standout choices, especially for those with dietary restrictions looking to enjoy delicious fish and chips.

The commitment to customer care is also impressive, with friendly staff readily answering questions about menu items and allergens. Nothing beats enjoying a hot meal with a large mug of tea in a cozy atmosphere after a day at the beach.

Most Disliked

Peak times can lead to long queues, especially on Fridays at 6 PM when the place hits 100% capacity. As a result, the majority of diners may find this inconvenient if they don’t plan accordingly.

Limited seating could pose a challenge during busy hours, particularly for larger groups or families looking to dine in. While the takeaway option is always available, it means missing out on the casual, cozy ambiance of the fish bar.

Within walking distance of the beach. We've eaten here on 4 occasions and every time the food has been very very good. The last time we were here (17th June 2025) our order included Cod, Cod Roe, and battered sausage with chips.

Although turned up close to the end of lunchtime, they were very happy to answer questions re Gluten Free options. The menu offered gf battered fish & chips, deep fried chicken portions. Lovely chips and crispy batter, all with a large mug of tea as we chose to eat in.

The chips at this fish and chip shop are to die for. They are soft, very succulent, and have a taste that makes you just want to eat more. The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. They also serve great coffee and, of course, other chip shop items. Would highly recommend.
